Four years ago, a doctor told me something no one wants to hear, “It’s cancer”. Epithelioid Peritoneal Mesothelioma. That sure sucked. But after chemo, immunotherapy, surgery (including heated chemo poured into my abdomen), and more immunotherapy, I’m still here. Not cured, but still here! Being a four-year Meso survivor is something I am grateful for, many aren’t that lucky. I am stable and feeling good. Here’s to Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN, Dr. Aaron Mansfield (my oncologist), and Dr. Travis Grotz (my surgeon), from the bottom of my heart I thank you! HERE’S TO STABLE!
