Mesothelioma Journey of My Husband
Michael Tollette was a hardworking truck driver and a good man. In 1982, we got married and built a life together filled with love and family. He worked hard all his life to take care of us and never wanted to retire.
We have three beautiful children and nine grandchildren, and another grandchild on the way. Family meant everything to him.
Later in life, he was diagnosed with mesothelioma, a devastating illness that changed our lives. On October 28, 2025, the doctor reported that he had a mass on his right lung. On December 9, 2025, he went under biopsy. He ended up in the hospital on December 24, 2025.
Despite his strength and courage, his health continued to decline. We went through many difficult hospital moments together, and eventually his kidneys shut down.
Even during the hardest times, he was surrounded by love from his family. His journey was painful and unexpected, but his life was full of hard work, love, and devotion to his family.
He passed away on December 26, 2025 at 70 years old.
Please donate and help fundraising for mesothelioma research.
“Rest in peace Mr. Michael.”
