To know Norman Louis Hill, nicknamed Norm, was to love him. He was born on Monday, July 20, 1942 to Eugenia and Charles E. Hill in the Germantown section of Philadelphia, PA. Norm, affectionately known as "Butch" to a select few, quickly adopted the family traits of hard work and pursuit of education.
Norman passed away on Saturday, August 19th after succumbing to the effects of mesothelioma, a rare but very aggressive form of cancer linked to asbestos exposure.
Norman is survived by his wife of 55 gloriously loving years, Kay; his four children, Robyn, Eddie, Erika and Dwayne; his four grandchildren Skye, Lyric, Malik and Ayanna; daughters-in-law Kamili and Malika; sisters Jean, Meryl, Karen, Renee, Jackie and Lynda; brother-in-laws Alexander, Aubrey and James; his lifelong friends Ali Bhuya & Eddie Jenkins and a host of loving nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, dear friends, loyal clients and a number of young people and adults, whose lives he positively impacted.
